WORKSHOPS

It is the intention of the Federation to provide courses/workshops for members according to their needs or interests.

PLEASE NOTE:- these are for members of affiliated groups only are are not open to members of the public to attend. Once advertised, details, application forms and posters will be on the web site.

They will take place either at commercial venues or at the premises of member societies.

Some previous courses have encompassed:

  • acting for beginners
  • creating a character
  • voice
  • make-up
  • publicity and sponsorship
  • direction and production
  • lighting
  • sound
  • Musical Theatre Performance
  • Musical Theatre Masterclasses and coaching

The sessions are taken by highly experienced experts in their field.

THE MET are a theatre and live venue in BURY and their main aim is to serve the local community. They often put on classes, clubs and workshops that are well attended. However, they also get offered several workshops from national touring companies which would be a fantastic opportunity for anyone interested in drama to get involved with.
