The 2012 Awards Night and Presentation Evening
We are in for a change this year!
We are delighted to be able to tell you that the evening will be held at the fabulous Last Drop Village hotel at Bromley Cross on Saturday 30th June 2012.
We have given much thought to this and having taken the plunge and made the decision we are really looking forward to the change and we hope that you will all embrace it too!

SMTC Celebrate 60 Glorious Years!
Most of you will be aware that 2012 marks the 60th anniversary of Salford Musical Theatre Company (originally Salford Amateur Operatic Society). To celebrate this milestone, SMTC will be presenting a show in celebration of the last 60 years, including songs from shows presented by the society and humorous anecdotes over that period.
A full rehearsal schedule will follow once Dave and Ed have got theirs communal heads together, but they will be on Wednesdays and Fridays (with the occasional possible Sunday depending on progress and members' behaviour!) at Patricroft United Reform Church (PURC), Shakespeare Crescent, Eccles M30 0PE

The eBay for Amateur Theatre - FREE.
We’re all involved with producing plays, and we all use scripts. We buy them, we use them and we... what? Put them on a shelf? In a box? Worst of all, do we throw them away?
And what about the next play? We want scripts, but we have a limited budget. Do we pay the full price? Do we loan them from a library? We don't photocopy, of course - that’s illegal!
